Prologue to Eevee of Darkness

Centuries ago, before man had thoughts of capturing Pokemon, people and
Pokemon lived in harmony. A legend was born when a young seer and her
friend, Alakazam, saw the future. It was a horrifying sight. The land was
under attack, nothing able to stop the beast before them. Then, out of the
dust, an eevee of darkness appeared. This eevee fought the beast without
rest. For many days they fought, neither backing down. There was a huge
explosion, and the dust that came from it covered the two combatants for
many an hour. When the dust finally cleared, the battle had been won, but
it was only when the eevee of darkness had been joined by his chosen mate
that he had won that fight.

The seer told everyone she could about her vision and word spread around
the world like wildfire. The search for the eevee of darkness that would
save their world in the future had begun.
